The club and its members

Pittwater Outrigger Canoe Racing Club was founded in 1995 and until January 1997 boasted only 6 female members, though the size of the club did not seem to hamper early success, and the club grew both in numbers and stature.

As of September 2011 we have over 60 active members. We cater for the ultra-competitive, to the paddler that wants to mix getting fit with some fun.

As well as competing in OC6 Regattas, we have a number of members who regularly train and race OC1 and OC2.

From our humble beginnings, we have now grown to become competitive on a state and national basis.  Our overall results are a positive indication of the hard work, commitment and resolve of the club members.
