Corporate Days and Team Building

Looking for something different and exciting to try for your next Corporate Day or Team Builing exercise?  Get involved in the most dynamic team building opportunity around - outrigger canoeing.

WHY OUTRIGGING?

It is held outdoors on the beautiful waters in Pittwater, a spectacular part of northern Sydney and for the simple fact that no paddling experience is required. Outrigging caters for all age groups and levels of fitness.  It requires teamwork to paddle 160Kgs of fibreglass over a 150-250m distance.  Participants will experience the thrill of being involved in their own mini regatta.  They will feel the excitement of competition, social interaction and team spirit.

THE EVENT

Members of Pittwater Outrigger Racing Club will organise the event including instruction, paddling and some fun races.  Experienced steerers will be provided for each boat as well as other paddlers for instruction and assistance. Other actvities such as scavanger hunts can be incorporated into the day.

TEAM COMPOSITION

Each canoe holds five paddlers and a steerer.  You can arrange crews to have department versus department, Management versus Staff or combine people into new working teams.  Either way, crews need to work together to get the best results and a well running canoe.
